Tony Gilroy said in a recent interview Andor has no themes commenting on modern day politics. All the politics as is the original Star Wars are about WW2.
Thanks for the great recaps! Didn’t imagine such an emotional conclusion to the show, and I didn’t mind one bit that it tied everything up with Rogue One (a film I admire but don’t love), I think they earned it and it was very well executed.
PS I chuckled at what appears to be a Semisonic reference used for the title!
